Worship Ministry

Here at Praise and Worship Center we have contemporary type of worship mixed in with traditional type worship.  We love to sing songs of praise and offer up our worship to our Lord Jesus Christ.  Praise and worship is one tool that we have to honor and glorify our Lord.  Worship is such an important part of our daily walk with Christ.  Worship is so much more than just the songs that we sing.  To worship God means, to serve God.  We should serve Him with everything that we have, with everything that we are, and every part of our lives.  Worship isn't measured by what songs we sing, how loud we sing, by raising our hands, or by running around shouting and jumping around.  Worship is measured by our hearts and how much of ourselves we are willing to give to God.  We praise God with our lips, our hands, our feet, our eyes, and we worship Him with our hearts.  True worship is total surrender to our Father and His will.  As we begin to praise God through song, we need to search our hearts and ask Him to cleanse us, mold us into what He wants us to be, and to reveal those things in our lives that are holding us back from giving everything to Him.  When we do this, we can come before God's throne with pure hearts, pure minds, and pure worship that we can bless our Lord and Savior with.  Psalm 100:1-2 says "make a joyful noise unto the Lord all you people!  Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing."  God created us to worship Him, so lets do what we were created to do!
